This lightweight and 100% carbon shoe is made out of one mold, which gives you a very unique and powerful experience as all energy will be used optimally.

First of all, you do not need to mold your shoes if they fit you straight out of the box!
This cycling shoe is the most heat moldable shoe on the market today. Bont’s resin is developed in house and has been perfected over 36 years to be an extremely stiff resin that becomes pliable at relatively low temperatures. The base of the shoe is moldable which means all stiff areas of the shoe can be molded in a standard oven. To mold your shoes, remove any cleats, laces or cleat mounting screws and innersole before molding. Failure to remove the innersole can result in it becoming deformed by the heat. Pre heat the oven to 70°C/160°F. Place the shoe in the oven for 20 minutes. Higher temperatures will void your warranty and may damage your boot. Caution: Do not place your feet in the hot shoes or you may burn your feet. Let them cool a little and test the shoe temperature with your hand before placing your feet in the shoes. Tighten the straps and allow to cool. If you have any lumps or bunions on your feet or if there are any areas causing discomfort, while the shoe is hot you can use the round end of a screwdriver to press out any part of the boot. You can heat mold the shoes as many times as you like.

une fois la chaussure personnalisée et le thermoformage effectué et avec une semelle parfaitement ajusté cette chaussure est exeptionnelle cependant elle possède quelques léger défauts qu’il faut etre bricoleur pour effacer:
– le thermoformage du carbone a une fenetre d’efficacité assez courte de environ – de 20 sec, a chaque operation le thermoformage precedent a tendance a s’effacer, ça demande de la force quant on doit mouler sur une bosse a la base du gros orteil, je conseille d’utiliser un manche a balai au bout arrondi appuyé au sol pour pouvoir vite mettre de la force en appuyant la chaussure en tournant .
-la semelle a un leger arrondi facial sur les extremités qui deforme les cales (look) ce qui oblige a placer des entretoises collé a la calle pour permettre un placement adequate, j’aurais aimé qu’il soit possible de regler les calles plus en recul de 5 à 10 mm mais ç’est deja bien
-une fois les réglages finis, à l’utilisation on peut se rendre compte que la minceur de la languette là ou les cables boa qui passent sur le dessus du pied peuvent créer des pressions de tension et un leger inconfort qui oblige a placer un plastique souple (piece a decouper dans un garde boue en plastique souple de 1mm d’epaisseur) collé a une mousse fine collé a la languette pour laisser passer les cables dessus de façon confortable
pour ceux qui ont les pieds difficile je conseille de prendre 2 jours de congé pour pouvoir adapter ces chaussures et une fois le tout finis on pedale dans le bonheur en plus ces chaussures sont tres belles
Schoen van hoge kwaliteit. De ‘badkuip’ van carbon zorgt voor extreme stijfheid, maar maakt ook dat de pasvorm erg belangrijk is. Geen schoen voor iedereen.

I was in dire need of a new pair of cycling shoes. At that time I already tried around 40 other pairs of shoes since I needed quite wide shoes and no other brand could deliver the width without me slipping out of the shoe (e. G. Lake CX 238X) or fitting at all (e. G. Shimano or specialized). I then contacted reins with my problems and they had the knowledge to pretty much immediately determine what I needed and then send me two pairs to try on and solidify their claims. So I went ahead and ordered the semi custom vaypor s in extra wide and they are a pure dream to ride in. It took arround 14 weeks to deliver but thats more the fault of external circumstances than reins doing. Therefore I can highly recommend and praise reins their customer service and their Bont vaypor s shoes
